Success Story
Luke Krause - MN State High School Hockey #1 Points Leader
The Minnesota State High School League is the pinnacle for youth hockey players from the legendary State of Hockey. During Luke's junior campaign in the Minnesota State High School League, he ranked #302 in points. The following off-season Luke expressed his desire to play NCAA college hockey, but Coach JC leveled with him with brutal honesty that if he did the same thing he always had done in regards to his off-season development, then he would never play in the NCAA. Luke needed to radically change the way he trained and developed his skills to ensure that he compounded his development faster and more efficiently than anyone else in Minnesota. Luke listened, bought in, and committed All-In to the JCHD process. He understood that it was the only option to give himself the best shot at making an impact in his final season of MN High School hockey with hopes of playing juniors and college.
Coach JC devised a program and set Luke on a path of no guarantee - just an actionable plan of intense daily effort and development of his skills in hopes of having enough runway to make his dream a reality. Training all-in with the JCHD process that off-season, Luke exceeded all expectations and transcended into a Minnesota Hockey Legend, finishing atop the leaderboard as the #1 leading points scorer by a landslide.
2017: Ranked #302 with 11 Goals, 15 Assists, 26 Points in 22 Games Played. 1.18 Points per Game.
2018: Ranked #1 with 30 Goals, 41 Assists, 71 Points in 22 Games. 3.23 Points per Game.
Luke transcended himself from an average high school hockey player with no college options to becoming the #1 leading points scorer and a State of Minnesota Hockey Legend. With his new found success came college interest where he ultimately committed to playing NCAA at Concordia College. Luke shattered expectations. "The kid that came out of nowhere" was now an NCAA college hockey player in less than 12 months.
